On Friday 18th October, we made a road trip to our class village of Woodchurch.
We visited the Woodchurch museum first to look at artefacts relating to the village. After that, we walking into the village, passing a stream on our journey.
Then we visited looked around the village to think about similarities and difference to the town of Folkestone. The school was much smaller than ours and the traffic survey showed us the village is much quieter than Folkestone!
We also visited the church and had a lovely time there. We had our lunch and then the church warden showed us around – including showing us where there is a sundial in the wall of the church.
We had a fantastic day exploring our class village in the October sunshine.
